fox-glove asked: I always thought that there was something different about OST as well. I couldn't put my finger on it either until I found out that it wasn't directed by Gore Verbinski like the first three. I think that it wasn't quite the same because of this. Still good, but definitely not the same.

jolie-depp asked: Just so you know, I could not agree more with the Jack Sparrow post. Something was off in the 4th movie and can't put my finger on it. Johnny was amazing but something was different which MIGHT have been due to the completely renewed cast. He had amazing chemistry with Keira and Orlando that wasn't quite there this time. jmho. And yes the make up was different too.
